About Us

Copeland Age and Advice Service is a not for profit Social Enterprise providing information, advice and guidance to the over 55’s in relation to financial matters, housing issues and in enabling people to continue to live safely and independently.

We support the ever-increasing ageing population of Copeland, this combined with the reduction in budgets locally and nationally has put an extra strain on Social care and NHS services.

Our service provides early intervention to vulnerable clients who, if left unsupported would more likely need to rely on Social Care and NHS services in the future. We aim to reduce inequalities in Copeland by ensuring that everyone is able to support themselves and manage financially, understand and access their housing options and access relevant support to enable them to live independently.
